Independence Day is a time to celebrate freedom and celebrate the men and women who’ve keep this country free for more than 200 years.

Waikem Hyundai Sales Manager Don Warner always has them on his mind, especially his son Matthew Warner.

Matthew is a 2003 Perry High School Graduate who serves on an elite Air Force Special Forces Team known as Combat Control.

Matt is in his Ninth Year of Service and recently returned from Afghanistan. Matthew Warner will return to Afghanistan in February.

Don has many photos of Matt on his desk and says he is always thinking about his son. He said some his best memories are visiting the base and spending time with his son.
