Want the best bang for your buck? MSN Autos says there are many vehicles among the top models who fit that mold.

According to the MSN study, Honda, Hyundai and Nissan passenger cars were voted among the top ten “Bang for Your Buck” Passenger Cars.

Hyundai talks success

It’s a good time for Hyundai. They are making some of the most popular, fuel efficient vehicles on the market today, including the 2012 Hyundai Elantra, the 2012 North America Car of the Year.

Hyundai CEO John Krafcik recently sat down with the Associated Press and talked about how Hyundai managed to rise above the competition to become one of the most popular brands on the road today.

Waikem Employees raise money for CF

Waikem employees were able to raise more than $1,000 for Adam Longwell, an employee in the Motors Parts Deparment. His two year old daughter Kendall has Cystic Fibrosis.

A group lunch Thursday was more than just a lunch, as the employees of Waikem gathered to raise money and help up a fellow co-worker in need.

The luncheon was for Adam Longwell, an employee in the Waikem Motors parts department. Everyone donated money to the “Blow Away Cystic Fibrosis” campaign. Adam’s 2-year-old daughter Kendall has Cystic Fibrosis, and the money will go towards the Great Strides run Saturday, May 5 at McKinley High School.

Honda, Ford, Subaru win best value awards

Honda, Ford and Subaru’s 2012 models will keep in five years the biggest percentage of what you paid to drive it away new.

That’s according to Edmonds.com, who Wednesday released the recipients of their “Best Retained Value Awards.”

Honda was the big winner for, the day, with an overall projected retained value of 47.9% after five years.

Ford and Subaru were the other big winners, taking home awards in multiple categories.

Honda won in the following categories:

Honda Civic – Sedan under 20K. Expected 50% retained value

Honda CR-V – SUV 25K-35K. Expected 54.6% retained value.

Honda Odyssey – Vans. Expected 43.5% retained value.

Ford won in the following categories:

Ford Shelby GT500 – Convertible 35K-45K. Expected retained value 46.5%

Ford Mustang – Coupe $25K-35K. Expected retained value for 46.8%

Ford Shelby GT500. Coupe over 45K. Expected retained value 47.5%

Ford F-350 SuperDuty. Large HD Truck. Expected retained value 48.6%

Ford F-150. Large light truck. Expected retained value 48.4%

Subaru won in the following categories:

Subaru Impreza. Sedan 20K-30K. Expected retained value 45.3%

Subaru Forester. SUV under 25K. Expected retained value 44.6%
